流感中獎 Hannah with a Cold

Hannah 前3個禮拜接連感冒了兩次。其實主要症狀就是鼻塞（一點點發燒，但是只有兩三天有）。。。

可是。。。在大人來説沒什麽的鼻塞，到一嵗以下的小孩身上就變成大事。因爲鼻塞就不能吸奶了。

於是，小鬼哇哇大哭，活動力下降，爸爸媽媽忙帶她找小兒科醫生求救。

醫生警告如果脫水就要挂點滴。

那麽小的孩子挂點滴，真是純折磨。不用別人說，媽媽都可以想象（也不是純想象，以前聼人說過）。。。小孩血管小，難找血管又不配合，只有一大群人硬壓，扎扎扎。。。常常要扎很多次才找的到血管。

接下來小孩又好動，説不定還會去拔針頭，針頭掉了還要重新扎，只好全身五花大綁的固定住，熬幾個鐘頭讓點滴滴完。。。這段時間的眼淚鼻涕和尖叫。。。想到就讓人不寒而慄。

所以Hannah幾個小時不喝奶，媽媽就笑不出來了。

另外，小鬼鼻塞就睡不好，有人叫媽媽乾脆整晚竪著抱，讓她比較好呼吸。已經累死了的媽媽實在沒辦法照辦，沒想到半夜起來，看到小鬼自力救濟的用狗爬式，頭頂著牆壁。。。竪起氣管睡。哈哈哈，可憐的好笑啊。

Hannah was sick (twice) in the past 3 weeks. Her main symptom is a stuffed nose.

                                                                                             

You wouldn’t think of it – but a stuffed nose is a very big deal for infants under one year old.  Hannah would refuse to nurse because she couldn’t breathe and nurse at the same time.  The pediatrician we saw warned that if Hannah were to become dehydrated, he would have to give her fluid intravenously.

That would be pure torture!

So let’s just say it was a bit stressful counting the number of mls our Hannah took in each day her nose was stuffed.

The experience was not fun for Hannah either – who even had to propped her head up against the wall to breathe better at night (Mommy just couldn’t bear holding her vertical all night as some friends have suggested that we do – we were already wiped).
