健身有成啦 Tummy Time Progress

小堂姐Emily跳舞 - 很可愛吧！ Emily's Dance (Hannah's cousin)

不要奶瓶要杯子 Bottles vs. Glasses

前陣子媽媽還在慶幸，小胖丫頭會自己奶瓶了。

滿三個月開始，一喂她奶，她就巴巴的把小手湊上來幫忙扶奶瓶，非常堅持，屢試不爽。

快滿四個月，爸爸索性放手讓她扶，她還真的扶的像模像樣的，左躺右躺，單手雙手，一瓶半瓶。。。統統都表演。

爸爸媽媽以爲自己快熬出頭了。

結果我們大人想得太美啦。。。。

小混球自己扶了沒幾天，就發現自己巴巴討來的差事，其實還蠻無聊的。

於是花招就來啦：
1。奶瓶抽出來又塞回去，抽出來又塞回去。。。
2。奶瓶抽出來看看，塞不囘去大叫討救兵。。。
3。奶瓶抽出來往後面一丟
4。把手和奶瓶一起放進去嘴巴吸，吸不到奶再大聲抗議這個奶瓶有夠爛。。。

花招都玩過了，她還會使出殺手鐧 - 用嘴巴緊咬著奶頭左右甩奶瓶，雙手配合在空中亂揮。。。興致高昂，一邊笑一邊表演給爸媽看，好像在說：“我不用手就可以耶!"

我的媽呀，看得爸爸直搖頭：“她這麽小，喝個奶怎麽花樣這麽多？”

看得伯母說小丫頭要管教一下、兇一兇了。

於是，我們都被打敗了。。。自己拿奶瓶？還是以後吧。

Hannah 也不在乎，她現在有興趣的已經不是奶瓶啦。。。人家喜歡上杯子啦。

用杯子喝，喝水也是甜的。

Hannah started holding her own bottle before she turned 4 months old (see video 1). But mommy celebrated a bit too early - the girl got bored of the chore quickly and started to invent various ways to play with her bottle that often end with spilt milk/screams for adult help or both.

When she started the trick of biting down on the bottle and swinging the bottle around hands free by shaking her head ... we decided perhaps it's premature to let her hold her own bottle.

Hannah's fine with her lost privilege though - because she wants glasses/cups now(video 2).

Mommy dreads the tricks she could play with those.

摳背背超享受 I love massages

小不點如我，已經知道享受摳背背了。可見人是天生喜歡被按摩的。

你們大人想借此叫我不要吵。。。這麽舒服，我只好被你們收買了。

I am the living proof that humans are born to love massages.

MMMMM.... I can do this every day - maybe give you all some peace and quiet while I am at it.

恰貝貝 Don't Mess with Me

小胖丫頭我心情好的時候，笑臉如花。。。

可是，本姑娘也不是好惹的。把我惹毛了，我會給你好看。

前兩天爸爸回來抱我到樓下逛逛，姑娘我正看的很有興致，眉開眼笑，爸爸竟然抱著抱著，就把我抱回家放沙發上了。。。

哇哇哇哇哇。。。。這是什麽世界啊！！

風景變成沙發。。。我被搶劫了。。。

抗議抗議抗議。。。。

還沒看夠還沒看夠。。。。

大人都不懂我的心。

Maybe I am all smiles most of the time - but I am not to be messed with.

If I am unhappy, I will make that KNOWN.

A couple of days ago, Daddy took me outside - one of my favorite things to do. There is so much to see. But then he made the mistake of taking me back inside too early....

EXCUSE ME???!!! I am not done here!! I was just very happy out there. What is up with this?? What injustice!

I have been deeply wronged and shalt not be soothed for at least another 10 minutes. Here is a piece of my mind because you deserve it.

Hannah 滿四個月了 I'm 4 months old

今天Hannah滿4個月了，體重快要8公斤，是個十足的小胖丫頭。

我越來越皮啦。。。什麽東西都要拿來玩，抓一抓，吃吃看。喝奶也是一邊喝，一邊玩。。。還把奶拿來當雪茄，抽給阿媽看，把阿媽笑死了。

超級黏人，沒人就大喊大叫，然後就大哭，這點媽媽很頭痛。不過有人在身邊的時候，還算是乖的啦。

還有，我快要會自己拿奶瓶了。從一個月前，我就喜歡假假的幫忙扶奶瓶，不停地練習把奶嘴和奶瓶推出來再塞回去，成功率不高就是了，哈哈。

這幾天我還真成功的喂自己大半瓶奶兩三次耶。

I am 4 months old today. Weighting in at almost 8KG.

I play all the time - grabbing whatever I can get my hands on. I even tried "smoking" my bottle - which really cracked Grandma up.

I need to be with people all the time - or else I'll scream and then wail. This is mom's major source of headache. Other than this, I am a pretty easy baby.

Finally, I can almost hold my own bottle now. I have been practicing it for almost a month now - and was able to feed myself close to an entire bottle of milk a couple of times.

秘密武器 Secret Weapon

我媽媽說這真是人類偉大發明之一，新店阿公阿媽叫它“秘密武器” - 每次我哭得大家束手無策的時候，一拿出來，我就不哭啦，就要忙著研究它啦。舅舅也不知道去哪裏弄來這個好東西。

以下的影片拍攝前5秒，我還在大哭大鬧，看不出來吧。

Mommy said this is one of the greatest inventions of mankind. Grandpa and Grandma call it "the secret weapon". I stop crying and get myself busy studying this thing every time mommy takes it out. It works like a charm. Major props to Uncle Su-Yang for giving it to me. Mom didn't even know such miracle product exists.

I was still crying and screaming my head off 5 seconds prior to the following video was shot ... and magic happened.

檸檬雞腿好酸 Lemon Juice is so Sour

Hannah愛啃她的小雞腿（見第一段影片）。爸爸說這樣不衛生，要在手上凃點辣椒讓她改進。

辣椒太狠了，就拿阿媽種的有機檸檬吧。

小傢伙雖然酸的臉都皺起來了，可是竟然還是能接受檸檬雞腿(見第二段影片）！

看來要她改這個習慣不容易哦！

Hannah loves sucking her hand (see video 1).

To break this habit, we rubbed an organic lemon from Grandma's rooftop garden on her hand.

Boy, was it sour! (see video 2) But Hannah sucks away anyway.

Looks like it'll be hard to break this habit. :P

小小電視兒童 Already Hooked on TV

我也許才3個半月大，可是我已經會捍衛自己看電視的權益。

小小電視兒童。。。你爸媽可以開始傷腦筋了。

Maybe I am only 3.5 month old, but I already know to defend my right to watch my favorite show.

Mom and Dad can start worrying about discipline issues now.

超偏心爸爸的 Hannah Loves Daddy

爲了博小胖丫頭一笑，全家卯足了勁耍寳。

新店阿媽唱歌唱的自己都說一輩子沒唱那麽多歌 -還繼續努力學歌呢。

媽媽搖她抱她弄得兩隻媽媽手到現在還沒好，中文英文故事說的嘴巴都乾了。

衆位阿姨們想了無數遊戲和哄小孩的戲法在她身上試。

小姨婆一來新店，就把她抱上抱下的，連睡覺也抱的緊緊的。

本來說小孩不要抱太多的爺爺奶奶也破功猛抱。。。

一分耕耘一分收獲，大家雖然弄得雞飛狗跳，小胖丫頭也會丫丫叫，賞我們幾個笑臉回應一下，讓我們這些癡心傻瓜開心得半死。

可是可是。。。真是不公平啊。。。最常不勞而獲小丫頭青睞的，竟然是超級不會逗小孩的爸爸。

爸爸真是不會逗小孩：

記得Hannah五六個禮拜大的時候，爸爸幫她換衣服。她因爲不愛被人擺佈而開始大哭。
媽媽說：“你跟她說幾句話，她喜歡聼人跟他説話，有人説話她就好一點。”
結果爸爸依然悶不吭聲。。。Hannah依舊嚎啕大哭。。。

因爲爸爸連一句話都想不出該說什麽好。跟小孩超沒話聊的。

哈哈哈哈。

可是小胖丫頭超偏心爸爸的，遇到爸爸，笑點就超低的。

大家耍寳耍半天，有時候還比不上爸爸走進來。

我們唱歌說故事弄得人仰馬翻，爸爸連説話都不用，隨便發出個“咕嚕咕嚕”聲，小丫頭就傻笑個不停。

真是偏心啊。原來上輩子的情人是這樣勾引人的。哈哈哈哈，真是個小狐狸精。

To get little Hannah to smile at us, all of us worked our butts off: singing, story telling, games, hugs, kisses, artificial flights ... you name it.

One person - Daddy - seems to be particularly favored by Miss Popular. He barely needs to exert any effort to get the girl to giggle to no ends.

Daddy is actually not very good with kids (by nature anyway). For the first couple of months of Hannah's life, he couldn't come up with anything to say to the baby even when Mommy specifically asked that he do it.

But Hannah makes it easy for Dad - just about any noise he makes will get a smile out of her. We are all so envious!

讓Hannah可以安靜自己看自己和鏡子裏的窗外風景。讓爸爸媽媽能夠從前座看到他在幹什麽。真是好東西啊！

What a nice invention - it lets Hannah entertain herself and let us see what she's doing from the front seat.

Hannah游狗爬式 Hannah Swam Doggie Style

上個禮拜，給Hannah游泳的時候，她突然轉身游起了狗爬式，會手手腳腳並用的游耶！前面幾次都只有游仰式呢！

這下子好了，媽媽阿姨都超興奮。。好厲害好厲害哦！Hannah會游狗爬式了！媽姨拉拉隊狂歡呼加油，媽媽之前看菲爾普斯贏游得八面奧運金牌時，也沒稀罕成這樣。

和爸爸開車囘基隆的路上，媽媽就興奮的報告：“Hannah今天會游狗爬式了也！我有錄起來哦，等一下給你看。”

回到基隆家，屁股剛坐到沙發上：“你要不要看Hannah游狗爬式？”

“等等，我要去洗澡。”

爸爸洗完澡剛在客廳坐下，媽媽又問：

“要看Hannah游狗爬式了嗎？”

爸爸忍不住笑出來：“有那麽好看嗎？”

“有。”媽媽認真的說，巴巴的把影片弄給爸爸看。。。

這一看，看得爸爸笑地前俯後仰說不出話來。。。

“幹嘛啦？？！”

“我是在笑你，你們太好笑了。。。她隨便一爬，你們high成這樣。有什麽稀奇啊。她現在會洗碗才稀奇。。。你去問她會不會洗碗。”

討厭鬼。

爸爸不要那麽客觀啦，以後要和人比成績、比能力的日子還長的呢。只有現在能主觀的爽一下而已，趕快享受，以後就沒機會了。

天下之大，什麽事情沒人做過，只要有人做過就不稀罕，那不就永遠沒人稀罕了，那會不會太慘了呀？

不過媽媽也只能在Hannah什麽都不懂的時候，亂爽一番而已。以後又要正經兮兮的教她謙虛努力，就不能這麽主觀亂high啦。。。

附上新店阿公在Hannah狗爬式游完後與小胖丫頭的對話一段 - 游臺灣海峽？？？！！！看來主觀的不是只有媽媽而已。。。。哈哈哈！

Hannah now knows how to swim doggie style! Mommy and auntie cheered and celebrated like she just won her 9th Olympic gold medal.

Seriously, Mommy wasn't this excited watching Phelps swam in Beijing.

On the way back to Keelung, Mommy broke the news to Daddy: "Hannah can swim doggie style now! I taped it!! You want to watch it??"

As soon as Mom and Dad got home ... "You want to watch Hannah swim doggie style??"

"Okay, but I will take a shower first."

As soon as Daddy got out of the shower ... "You want to watch Hannah swim doggie style??"

Daddy couldn't help but broke out in laughter: "Yes. Is it really that good?"

"Yes." Mommy replied in all seriousness and played the clip.

Daddy almost laughed his head off after watching the video.

"What's so funny??!"

"YOU are so funny. Hannah just crawled around in water a bit and you girls went nuts. It's not that special. I'd be impressed if she can do the dishes for me right now."

...

Hey! Enjoy this opportunity to be subjective when you can. There won't be a shortage of days when Hannah will be "objectively" compared to others ... grades, activities, abilities ... you name it. It gets a lot harder to impress when you grow up. So have a little fun for now :) ...

... But then again, to teach Hannah humbleness and good work ethic, mommy knows she will have to tune down her subjective pride at some point .

For now though (and for fun), Mommy declares without any bias what-so-ever: "Hannah is the best doggie style swimmer in the world!"

hahaha.

和Hannah玩打地鼠 Whack a Mole with Hannah

話説家裏有了Hannah，所有的人都返老還童，耍寳耍到回到三歲啦。

我們是Hannah的玩具，Hannah也是我們的玩具，全家大小玩的不亦樂乎，老實說有時候也不知道誰比較幼稚。

本來媽媽已經覺得，新店阿媽天才的解讀Hannah開車已經很厲害了，我們這些大人都可以算是瘋了。

可是，可是。。。。一山還有一山高啊。。。

那天稚穎阿姨來，看到Hannah踢踢她的小胖腿。馬上判讀。。。小胖丫頭這不是在踩油門，也不是在踩刹車啦。。。。

。。。是她想玩打地鼠的遊戲啦！

於是，阿姨立刻拿一條毛巾蓋住Hannah的兩隻胖腿，小胖腿就變成地鼠了。

Hannah踢腳腳，稚穎阿姨和璇璇阿姨兩人就打地鼠打的不亦樂乎。

小傢伙一副莫名其妙的樣子。。。。大概是奇怪怎麽大家都變得比她幼稚了吧。

Here is another example of how Hannah's magic has turned everyone in the family into 3 year olds. Sometimes Mommy is not sure if maybe some of us have indeed become more childish than Hannah is. Alas, we've found the fountain of youth.

Now, Hannah waves her chubby little arms and legs like normal babies do. Grandma fantasized that the little one was actually driving... which Mommy thought was already a brilliant interpretation that's hard to beat.

But then Auntie Ruby came over and saw Hannah kicking air with her feet (stepping on gas ... according to Grandma) and decided that all our previous analyses were wrong.

Hannah was actually asking us to play Whack a Mole with her.

Auntie Ruby quickly obliged and covered Hannah's chubby legs with a towel - making them moles to be whacked. Then, Auntie Ruby and Auntie Xuanxuan commenced on an exciting night of whacking Hannah's legs when the little one kick them up.

As you can see, Hannah looked totally confused.

Yes honey, your youth is very contagious here.

Hannah 健身運動之游泳篇 Hannah Swimming

新店阿媽家的屋頂種了一百多盆的菜，夏天早晚需要澆的水十分可觀。注重環保的阿媽家，廚房的用水全部回收去澆菜。家裏的熱水，也全部是太陽能加熱。

天熱的好處就是植物需要的水量多，廚房回收的水澆菜不足，太陽能熱力足，熱水用不完。。。。

鏘鏘鏘，Hannah小姐有福了，有了很好的藉口可以每天在浴缸溫水游泳。反正游完的水剛好澆菜。

游泳還很耗體力呢，每次游完她就要大睡一頓，大喝一大瓶奶。還好小傢伙很喜歡水，游起來十分自得其樂，不像練伏地挺身一樣會哇哇抗議。

Environmentally conscious Grandma and Grandpa use solar power to heat water for their household need. They even recycle their water to water their roof top garden.

Brutal Taiwanese summer heat means an excess of solar power and higher watering needs from the garden at Grandma and Grandpa's house. All these make an excellent excuse for Hannah to enjoy a daily warm water "swimming" experience at Grandma and Grandpa's place.

Hannah loves swimming! It's an exhausting sport - prompting her to nap and drink a huge bottle of milk afterwards. But you hear no complaints from her - unlike her tummy time protests.

Hannah 健身運動之伏地挺身篇 Tummy Time III - more persistent

Hannah 現在越來越有力氣了。讓她趴著，她會認真努力地想要挺起來，可以持續十幾分鈡呢。

只是這段影片是兩三個禮拜前的，現在她的頭已經可以挺很高，而且還可以觀察一下周邊的世界，才放鬆下來。

Hannah is now much more persistent during her neck muscle workout during her tummy time. However, lazy mommy has yet to capture a video of Hannah lifting her head up high (even though she has done it several times already).

For now, a video from 2-3 weeks back will suffice - at least mommy captured her effort!
